Review by hotel critic
During our recent stay at Voco Brisbane, my wife and I experienced a delightful culinary journey that perfectly complemented the hotel's already impressive offerings. The buffet breakfast was a standout feature, with a wide array of options including pastries, fresh fruit, juices, and hot dishes. As an environmental scientist, I truly appreciated the abundance of vegan and gluten-free choices available, showcasing a commitment to catering for all guests' needs. Our room, offering stunning views across the Brisbane River to South Bank Parklands, provided a serene backdrop for our dining experiences. One morning, we ventured to Picasso's, just a stone's throw away, for a delectable brunch that left our taste buds dancing. For lunch, we decided to try out The Cutting Board, a short walk from the hotel. The fresh, locally sourced ingredients used in our meal highlighted Voco's dedication to sustainable practices, resonating with my own values as an advocate for environmental conservation. In the evening, we ventured to Phat Boy, another nearby dining gem, where the fusion cuisine impressed us with its innovative flavors and vibrant presentation. The proximity of these diverse dining options to the hotel made our gourmet getaway truly memorable.Voco Brisbane not only exceeded our expectations in terms of hospitality and comfort but also pleasantly surprised us with its culinary innovation and commitment to sustainability. As an Aussie who treasures our natural wonders, I commend Voco for their efforts in providing a holistic experience that caters to the discerning traveler's palate.
